We loved this escape room. We used it for my daughter's 8th party with a mixed group of children between 7 and 11. They had a wonderful time - several children were very engaged and the others happily dipped in and out. It was much better than anything I would have had time to produce myself. We ordered the printed copy for the nice shiny version for the party and it was good quality - much better than I could have printed at home. The resource was really well set out. I read it very carefully for this first time using one of their resources, but it really was pick-up and go. Another time I won't worry about reading every bit of it. We used two packs in groups of 4/5 and I wouldn't want the groups to be any bigger, because they would struggle to see the puzzles.
Improvements: It would be helpful if you could order extra copies of the consumable resources, rather than having to order two packs for two groups. The robot head might have been better printed on thin card and I think the codex would be better taped together (one did fall apart because small hands grabbed it too roughly).

This was the main activity for our 10 year olds birthday party with 5 friends (all age 9). It was a great success! They struggled a little on the first clue but soon found their rhythm and āescapedā with 17 minutes to spare. Of the six kids, four of them were really engaged throughout and two were happy to dip in and out. The quality of the delivery pack was really high and it was all simply explained. I am tempted by a Halloween or Christmas one to do with cousins for later in the year.

Bought for a party in December so I could have a look and make sure any decorations fit in with it. What Iāve looked at so far looks great, and I think theyāll have an amazing time.
Definitely taken the stress out of having to print everything out, and the quality is much better than what I could have done at home.
