The Story
You and your friends want to join the Wizard school. But you only have 60 minutes to pass the wickedly hard test to be admitted to the school. Can you outsmart ghosts and dragons or learn spells and potions in time ? 🧙♂️🪄

I bought the wizard challenge game for two of grandchildren to do at Easter. They are both very bright 10 year olds, and I thought they’d possibly find it a bit too easy. Not so, some bits were quite a challenge, made much harder by several misprints, meaning there was no option but for some of the adults to step in and work out what was wrong with the game. The three which held us up mostly were (1) misprints on the dragons egg page, actually in the “help” booklet, (2) the page which had to be folded into a hat should have revealed the answers, but one of them was obscured, and I had to give the answer from the help booklet, and (3) in the final section which required them to translate runes, a misprint gave two different answers for the same rune.
The game idea is very good in principle, but the errors rather spoilt it. On the strength of this one, I don’t think I’d purchase another.
Bought this as an afternoon activity for a wet family day and the cousins met up and this safely reduced the chaos for an hour. Great fun - all family had parts. Apparently I made a great Wizarding Headteacher!
The pack looks great fun and I am really looking forward to using it for my 10yo’s 11th birthday party. Support from Paper Adventures was excellent - I am really grateful for the time they spent helping me work out how many packs to buy and which option was most suitable for my needs. Big recommend!
